REPORT OPTIONS

Letter of Findings (L.O.F)

A one page report that is a cost effective option we developed in the 90’s to provide straight to the point scene findings.

Short Report

Two to three page report with limited amount of photos included. Covers everything in what would be in the letter of findings plus more detailed information and pictures to

back up findings.

Full Report +

Numerous page report. 100’s of photos can be included along with attachments and documents. It’s an extensive and detailed option that is both comprehensible and thorough.

Letter of Status
(L.O.S)

A one page status letter that serves to update your file.

Case Reviews

This is an available option for existing cases to either prove or disprove the original findings. Case reviews can be used as a second opinion and a more in depth investigation. They can also uncover unknown avenues of subrogation or discover additional evidence not previously known. In some cases a second opinion can provide settlement without deposition or court proceedings.

About our pRocess...

PERFECTION IS ACHIEVED NOT WHEN THERE IS NOTHING MORE TO ADD, BUT WHEN THERE IS NOTHING LEFT TO TAKE AWAY. - Antoine de Saint-Exupery

Since the 1980's, we use content inventory as a pivotal method for detecting fraud. We make sure to clarify and confirm all contents in the fire with the assigned adjustor. This method of content verification works in total burns, even when the fire has reached the ground leaving ash in its place.

Items and pieces made up of metal and other select materials will survive even the most severe fires. That can be anything from toys, furniture hardware, clothing fasteners, dishes, jewelry, guns, coins, picture frames, appliances, a large variety of electronics, tools and many other items. You can use this technique to know what was in the home prior to the fire, even if there is no ignition source present for the fires inception.

The scene is cordoned off in blocks or sections, numbered, and all contents are documented. All information regarding the items in the house prior to the fire will be recorded and shown to the adjuster, SIU, or attorney on the case. Records will then be matched and compared against inventory sheets submitted.

SFA was the first company to offer the L.o.F report which can save the adjuster hundreds, if not thousands, on any claim. Got a vehicle/boat, piece of equipment, business, or a house fire? Need an expert to represent you at a joint exam? Call us today! Don't pay more for less experience. You don't want to let the chance to prove your case go up in smoke!
